"Very central location with large secure car park - I was pleasantly surprised as I stayed here a long time ago and have since read some bad reports of problems at the Hotel - I was greeted in reception by friendly and helpful staff and my room was located on the top floor roadside which can be a bit noisy but after all this is a very central location on a busy junction - The room had been re-decorated and was spotless - Clean fresh white linen on the bed with both pillow and mattress protectors - Fresh white towels and a very clean bathroom recently re-painted with clean fittings and tiling - All the lights worked and the kettle was spotless (Free tea/coffee/sugar etc provided) - Yes the hotel is now dated and harks back to the layout and interior of the original Campanile Hotels when they first came to the UK - The exterior needs a repaint and the external floor covering and stairways are in urgent need of refurbishment - But no problem at all with my stay and I would go again - I did not use the bar or restaurant so can't comment on those - I expect that in the not too distant future this site will be re-developed but currently if nothing else a bit of original Campanile nostalgia."

The staff was friendly upon arrival. Parking at the hotel was convenient. I found the room was warm and fairly clean. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water.
The tea and coffee supplies was a bit limited.

There are no inclusive meals available, only a paid option for a bacon or sausage bap is available. The bar had limited service, as it did not offer draught options, but bottled beers was available.

The hotel provided on-site parking, and it was cheap. Access to the smoking area through the bar was restricted because the fire door was broken. Security measures seemed minimal, with easy access around the premises.

The location is near the train station, a five minute walk. This location is a good base for accessing the town centre. Despite facing the main road, the room remained quiet.

the location was very convenient. i walked to the city centre easily. the room was tidy and met my basic needs. the staff at reception were friendly and helpful during check-in.
The gate nearest the road was always locked. this meant i had to walk around to the carpark entrance. the mattress felt quite thin. I could feel the springs. the bathroom had some mould by the window. it was disappointing.

The location is VERY central. The staff were helpful. Parking cost only £3.60 per 24 hours.
I could not open my window because of the road noise. Other guests walked past to get to their room. The beds are UNCOMFORTABLE.

the location work great for my journey and a guy at reception was really cute. he was very helpful. parking was good, so i did not have to worry about my car.
first room was offered, but it smelled of cigarettes. then i got a new room, and it was okay after that.
